The XPR is a rugged, no nonsense game-getter that will put meat in your freezer for many years to come. Most of all, the feature-packed XPR bolt-action rifle embodies the lasting quality you've come to expect from Winchester Repeating Arms. It features Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System offers a 2:1 mechanical advantage that results in a superior trigger pull. It is constructed of polished and hardened carbon steel with a blued finish for added durability and corrosion resistance. The XPR rifle has a two-position safety, chromoly steel bolt with a nickel telon coating, one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame. Its chromoly steel barrel is precisely button-rifled to create outstanding accuracy along with the barrel nut which keeps the entire barrel/receiver assembly precisely aligned and allows for more accurate headspace control during manufacture. The entire barrel is free-floating to eliminate any accuracy robbing pressure points. The receiver is chromoly steel barstock that's precision machined and through-hardened during heat-treating to create a strong, stiff and solid receiver capable of delivering pinpoint accuracy. The ejection port is generously sized for more reliable ejection and easier access when loading single cartridges by hand. The receiver is drilled and tapped for robust 8-40 screws, creating a more secure mounting. This model comes with a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm scope with a BDC reticle, including Weaver-style rings and bases.
